IRL Flow School

CREATIVE SEQUENCING FOR YOGA TEACHERS

An in-person sequencing & cueing course for yoga teachers who want to own the hell out of their voice.

You want to be a great teacher, one that blends innovation with tradition and inspires students to connect deeper with their practice. Flow School will help you do this.

You want to push boundaries, nurture your creativity, carve out an authentic style, and refine your craft with like-minded peers.

Learning in-person will give you this and hold you accountable to taking action.

Teaching is a Practice

What is the Flow School Method?

Without burning out or feeling like an imposter, Flow School helps you tap into your own creative sequencing.

Instead of traditional yoga sequencing, you'll craft a Peak Flow based on movement science, breathing patterns, and your connection to practice. This emphasizes smooth transitions and breath-paced movement.

Using this method, you'll develop mini flows leading up to the Peak Sequence, accommodating diverse student abilities in a safe, scalable way. It ensures comprehensive body movement and specifically tailored warm-ups for the Peak Sequence.

You'll customize this approach for Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, and Slow Flow classes, adaptable to various ages and abilities. It offers clarity in sequencing, a personalized template, eliminating guesswork, and an innovative perspective beyond typical Vinyasa practices.

Flow School is for Yoga Teachers Who:

  • Aren’t comfortable creating sequences

  • Need a clear cueing method

  • Have gotten bored with their practice

  • Want to feel more confident while teaching

  • Are ready to own their voice and impact

  • Own a studio and miss receiving feedback

  • Crave a community of teachers to collaborate and learn with

  • Don’t know how to weave story and movement together

Alumni Experience

I would do this course 1,000 times over! Not only was learning a new way to teach exactly what I needed, but the friendships that came from that week felt like going back to Teacher Training. As a veteran teacher, it can be hard to find opportunities like this. So thank you for creating that space ♥️

-Amanda

The most surprising element of Flow School was how playful and fun teaching and practicing can be (surprise lol!). Nobody has ever brought that aspect into any training or even any class I’ve taken. It was very refreshing.

-Celia

IRL Flow School gave me permission to teach in a way that I thought I hadn’t been given permission to do before. And of course Bonnie, through her online presence, gives that permission but it didn’t hit me until I was in person with people. All of us wanting to learn and teach and move in a similar yet unique way. Doing that together with breath and bodies and sweat and being able to vibe off of one another and receive feedback - it gave me the permission I needed to move forward and have the confidence in myself to do it.

-Alycia

Working with Bonnie helped me feel a lot more free and fluid. Finding a connection with myself is something I’ve been missing.

-Raija

Working with Bonnie helped me feel a lot more seen, understood, courageous enough to think outside the box and own my deeper creative impulses as a yoga teacher and general human. I love the way Bonnie gets down deep into the crevices of working and doesn't let up. She keeps you in those challenging spaces and says, "keep going...you got this."

-Jinenne

I'm an experiential learner.  If I had to stare at a screen, I knew I wouldn't give it my full attention and would have 10 tabs open at the same time or prioritize something else.  I was going to patiently wait until an IRL training came to fruition.  And I'm glad that I did.

Meet your Teacher

Hi, I’m Bonnie.

My favorite classes in school were always the anatomy ones. I majored in English but geeked-out over dissections. Combine that with growing up in a strict religious upbringing, then leaving it, and you have me landing in a place that’s curious, not interested in dogmatic or hierarchical practices, and most interested in celebrating the freedom to move.

There’s so much room for creative expression in sequencing, both from the teacher and the student. I combine my knowledge of movement science with the yoga world and offer a playful, cool AF, and intellectual approach to teaching flow.

I’ve mentored hundreds of teachers to use their own embodied experience and authentic voice to step into leadership. It’s life-changing to witness.

I love working with teachers who have a mindset of abundance, bravery and a fierce love for people.

Alumni Testimonials

I found my creative juice again and a simple and fun way to practice my yoga "ABC"s. So many wins I can't just pick one...well yes, first is that I am falling in love with yoga again, moving just for fun and found the tool to turn this creative free flow into a structured flow I can build a class out of. I found the permission to run yoga classes however I want and stop the class in between movement and workshop. I gained so many new amazing friends. I found a routine and rituals that works for me. I realized I wasn't alone in that yoga struggle.

-Steph HG

Before working with Bonnie, there's one thing you should know about her: she is exactly who you think she is. She is authentically herself online and in person. Also, you might want her to be your new BFF.

-Jolene

With repetition/peak flows  introduced into my classes I have had students say they love to come to classes I teach b/c by the end of it they feel as though they really got it and it boosted their experience to have that “I’m getting this” feeling. Huge win- especially for beginners.

-Alycia

I loved the pacing of the whole week.  I didn't feel rushed to squeeze everything or to try to learn all the things at one time.  Other trainings felt like the agenda mattered more than the people who were being trained.  This training just flowed so naturally which was such a breath of fresh air for this Type A personalty.
