Flow School ONLINE

A CREATIVE SEQUENCING AND CUEING COURSE

for Yoga Teachers

An 9-week online course to create magnetic and smart sequencing. We use movement science principles and personal creativity, then learn the framework to cue others through it.

The joy of exploring new movements is enhanced by a teacher's ability to create and cue choreography that supports and inspires students—a skill that blends both art and craft. And a lot of practice.

This is about being the kind of teacher that shows up with personality, prepared to guide, but brave enough to do it in an authentic way.

THIS IS OWNING YOUR VOICE.

Practice teaching

Flow School is for Yoga Teachers Who:

Aren’t comfortable creating sequences

Need a clear cueing method

Have gotten bored with their practice

Want to feel more confident while teaching

Are ready to own their voice and impact

Own a studio and miss receiving feedback

Crave a community of teachers to collaborate and learn with

Don’t know how to weave story and movement together

SOUND LIKE YOU??

What is The Flow School Method?

Without burning out or feeling like an imposter, Flow School helps you tap into your own creative sequencing.

Instead of traditional yoga sequencing, you'll craft a Peak Flow based on movement science, breathing patterns, and your connection to practice. This emphasizes smooth transitions and breath-paced movement.

Using this method, you'll develop mini flows leading up to the Peak Sequence, accommodating diverse student abilities in a safe, scalable way. It ensures comprehensive body movement and specifically tailored warm-ups for the Peak Sequence.

You'll customize this approach for Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, and Slow Flow classes, adaptable to various ages and abilities. It offers clarity in sequencing, a personalized template, eliminating guesswork, and an innovative perspective beyond typical Vinyasa practices.

Every Saturday, Apr 6th - June 15th

Time: 9 - 12 pm PDT

(no class May 25th and June 8th)

  • What I gained cannot be measured in typed words on a page. Bonnie forced me to step outside of my comfort zone as a teacher and by doing so has empowered me to be more creative in my sequenceing. I learned to build out sequences in an organized/easy to read fashion, but one of the biggest take aways was... Flow School showed me that there is no one way, or right way to teach.

  • I love that this time together has helped me find some structure and I feel more confident with my teaching, which is amazing and I didn't come with that expectation.

    Kirthana

  • You are allowed to make your own rules ! The Peak Flow structure really helped me to build interesting and fun classes. Starting from the end (the Peak Flow) and going backwards to build up the sequence is super handy and appears really logical to me. I feel much more inspired and I can create classes way more easily and rapidly now.

Meet Your Teacher

Hi, I’m Bonnie.

My favorite classes in school were always the anatomy ones. I majored in English but geeked-out over dissections. Combine that with growing up in a strict religious upbringing, then leaving it, and you have me landing in a place that’s curious, not interested in dogmatic or hierarchical practices, and most interested in celebrating the freedom to move.

There’s so much room for creative expression in sequencing, both from the teacher and the student. I combine my knowledge of movement science with the yoga world and offer a playful, cool AF, and intellectual approach to teaching flow.

I’ve mentored hundreds of teachers to use their own embodied experience and authentic voice to step into leadership. It’s life-changing to witness.

I love working with teachers who have a mindset of abundance, bravery and a fierce love for people.

Weekly Themes:

WEEK 1 - Community building and introduction: meet other teachers you’ll be working with and intro to Flow School

WEEK 2 - Shorthand and Elements of a Peak Flow: how to document your flows and what to include

WEEK 3 - Cue Lab and Breath Pace: build a base of cueing that’s clear and concise, learn about breath in motion and the craft of cueing

WEEK 4 - Transitions to Switch Sides: create circular continuous flow

WEEK 5 - Prop Your Practice

WEEK 6 - The Flow Matrix: how to put it all together and add variety to through props

WEEK 7 - Modifiers of Difficulty: how to build to the Peak Flow in a progressive and successful way

WEEK 8 - Storytelling and Music: guide others from beginning to end with approachable and appropriate theming that enhances the experience to something they take off the mat

WEEK 9 - Teach

What Will You Learn?

In Flow School, you'll learn to lead peak flow classes that ignite your students' inner magic. You’ll craft scalable circular sequences, infusing playfulness and functional movement, and connecting breath with motion. I'll share my approach to preparing students for a mindful experience and storytelling in an authentic way that builds trust. Beyond the physical, learn to support transformation by meeting students where they are. These skills let your unique teaching shine, fostering a nurturing community blending science with the magic of movement and breath.

Hear from Alumni:

“Flow school has been such a supportive experience to my vinyasa practice and teaching ability. I've gained confidence in leaning into repetition as a way to make classes accessible and safe while also learning a new way to think about moving dynamically on my mat and assisting others. The feedback from students is the best indicator that Flow School has indeed made me a better teacher.”

— Marcus

“Flow School has really helped me find my own voice and the courage to do things a little differently from how I was taught in ytt. Well, not necessarily differently, but just to a deeper and more authentic-to-me level, if that makes sense. In ytt, you are learning so much so fast and there isn't a lot of time to really dig in on every topic, so I have really enjoyed this extra time spent in Flow School. It has helped me really see and understand the big picture of a Vinyasa class (which I love so much), and how and why the different parts of a class fit together and their purposes. It has helped me go from plugging poses into a formula that was handed to me to really crafting a cohesive and meaningful experience from beginning to end.”

— Kelly

“I joined Flow School with two things in mind. 1) Research: To see if it was possible to build community online. I can say an absolutely big YES to that. It felt comforting to see familiar faces, share insight, and be a part of something with a diverse group of people from all over the world. 2) To be re-inspired. I have taught yoga for over 10 years, own a studio, train teachers at a 200 and 300 hr level, and love my job but I took this JUST FOR ME instead of constantly giving to others. This program did not disappoint. With the flow prompts (my favorite part of the program) I was able to have fun in my own practice again, think of new ways of moving, and got exactly out of it what I wanted which was to be re-inspired within my own practice! Bonnie is a gem and her and welcoming spirit will invite you to the best version of curious yourself. I highly recommend!”

— Angie

“The influence Flow School has had on my teaching has crept up on me. The shift felt subtle week by week, but when I sit down and look back at where I started, I realise the change has been BIG! Flow School feels like the key that has unlocked my creativity, the key that has given me permission to try, and to stuff up, and to try again because it is all an experiment. I am so happy I took the leap and said yes, and feel so grateful to have learned from you Bonnie - thank you xx.”

— Sarah

“I walked in to flow school having not taught for 4 years. The imposter syndrome was strong and I lacked a community of yogis to talk things through with. I was met with kindness and generosity from Bonnie, and the rest of the community. It started me thinking, it started me creating, and it has provided me with a little community to call on when I need. Thank you Bonnie. This truly was fantastic.”

— Natasha

“Flow School has been the best investment I've ever made in myself as a yoga teacher. I feel more open, more equipped, and more supported than I have ever felt in this space. FS has reminded me that I am worthy of standing in my power as a teacher and a mover. Eternally grateful!”

— Raydene

“Flow School was everything I thought it would be an more... and I even went into it with a high bar knowing that Bonnie is an expert at what she does. I was so impressed with how organized the course was laid out. During class she cultivated approachable, but challenging experience building exercises that has left me feeling exponentially more confident in my teaching ability.”

— Jeff

  • I began teaching yoga in my garage to my training clients, learning flows from videos as we went. Though I had no formal background, I was obsessed with thoughtfully leading classes.

When I finally took my first teacher training with Rocky Heron, I expected Vinyasa techniques. His Hatha training still gave me a critical foundation for intelligent cuing and alignment. I continued refining my flow knowledge with Patrick Beach and Carling Harps. Their styles showed me how to blend science, tradition and curiosity into peak flows.

My goal is dance-like, mindful movement. Students often say "I’ve never had yoga like this!" or "I feel more embodied." That feedback drives me. Just as importantly, teaching can isolate you. I aim to build confidence and community so we mentor each other from the heart. My teachers showed guidance doesn't happen alone.

I created Flow School to provide the knowledge and connections I longed for as a new teacher. My method gives you tools to share yoga in a way that resonates with your spirit and fills your students with aliveness. Together, we can lead from a place of belonging.

See You In Class

I have watched teachers move from fear, feeling bored, thinking they must teach in a specific way to be legit into confidence, powerfully using their voice, teaching in a way they finally feel is most representative of them, and receiving feedback from students about how the practice invites their own playful and empowered movement.

I want this for you too.
